The gray outer border indicates the full image area.
The light gray lines inside the AF sensor brackets indicate the AF sensors.
The green circles are the center weighted metering circles (6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm).
The blue circles indicates the spot metering circle (2.3mm) depending on AF sensor.

This is an idealized representation.
Due to mechanical tolerances the viewfinder in any given D70 is not perfectly aligned.
AF sensors are usually within the AF sensor brackets but are not usually perfectly centered.
There is some controversy as to whether the spot metering circle is really only 2.3mm in diameter.
